Helping Cancer Patients With Everyday Challenges
APT Fighting Chance Foundation is a non-profit organization that was established in September 2016, to assist everyday people, who are battling cancer, cope with the challenges facing them on a daily basis. These needs range from the need for a ride to a treatment session, helping out around the holidays, financial support for a basic need, however important, tasks that need to be completed around the house.
Why We Support The Daily Needs of Individuals
For cancer patient and their families, the basic needs, those simple everyday tasks, can seem overwhelming to those who are facing one of the biggest challenges of their lives. One of the founders of APT Fighting Chance Foundation has seen that first hand when he was diagnosed in March of 2005 of large cell Type a Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. We provide financial resources to achieve these simple but important activities. With rising medical costs, many cancer patients simply do not have the resources available for these activities and this is where we act and make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.
How We Provide Assistance
Installation of safety equipment
Most people relate cancer to a hospital, surgery, chemo or radiation, but what most people do not realize is that cancer disrupts the very fabric of everyday life. For example, a father who is the primary breadwinner in a home is diagnosed and treated for cancer, finds himself unable to provide for this family. A mother of three children finds it nearly impossible to take her ill child for treatment while trying to juggle schedules with school and other activities for her other children.
You can be assured that the contributions you provide will be there to help anyone in need.
